Join us on Monday, June 3, 2013 to celebrate Lapham’s Quarterly's second annual DECADES BALL, this year featuring the boom times and cool cats of the 1950s.
Our event is chaired by Jane and Morley Safer, who will present the Lapham’s Quarterly Janus Prize to historian Kevin Phillips.

The evening's entertainment includes readings and performances from Tom Hanks, Tony Kushner, Jesse Tyler Ferguson, Martha Plimpton, Ari Graynor, and Paul Muldoon, who will bring life to the television shows, books, poems, and plays from the era, as well as singer-comedienne Nellie McKay, who will perform classic songs by Doris Day.
