Dexter Filkins

Dexter Filkins covered the rise of the Taliban while serving as the Los Angeles Times’ bureau chief in New Delhi in the late 1990s. He wrote The Forever War while a fellow at the Carr Center for Human Rights Policy at Harvard University, and has twice been a finalist for a Pulitzer Prize for his work on the Middle East and Central Asia.
